Position summary

We are looking for an experienced hands-on Product Manager to drive the delivery of features on the Thomson Reuters HighQ collaboration platform.

Ideally you can demonstrate several years’ experience owning SaaS B2B products, using data and analytics as well as customer interviews to identify, write and prioritize a backlog of epics, and work in an Agile SCRUM team with engineering and UX to elaborate user stories. You have experience of taking products to market, enabling marketing, solution consultant and customer account teams to get product features into customer hands, delivering value with regular product feature releases.

You like to work as part of a product team in a matrixed environment where you have direct responsibility for particular areas, and work collaboratively across the Thomson Reuters portfolio to ensure that each area of the product integrates to deliver a fantastic end-to-end user experience.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3+ years of experience working as a product manager of a B2B or B2C digital platform shipping multiple products and features
  • 3+ years in Agile SCRUM environment
  • Confident in the software development life cycle – writing requirements and user stories, supporting development, testing, and deployment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop an inspiring product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed product suite, with multiple integration points both internal and external to Thomson Reuters
  • Experience with technology and an excellent ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
  • A fantastic customer manner, with the ability to develop rapport with sophisticated customers and to describe how your product delivers value and solves their problems

In addition, you might have:

  • A software engineering or data analytics background, and you should be very comfortable gathering, curating and examining data to discover trends and support product development
  • Knowledge of the work of lawyers in private practice law firms or in-house corporate teams, and how technology can be used to drive efficiency and productivity for legal work
  • Experience of Legal Tech such as contract management solutions, legal AI tools, litigation support platforms or knowledge / research products
  • Experience of defining APIs and integrating with third-party services to provide platform capabilities
  • Understanding of emerging technologies such as AI
