Are you a confident, hands-on HR professional, looking for an opportunity to partner and support a group of business clients at Thomson Reuters**.** Thomson Reuters is a global enterprise Company, requiring HR to work together in a cohesive and collaborative manner to drive the strategic people agenda.
We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join our EMEA Regional HR Team on a 12 month contract. This role will be responsible for providing first class HR service and support to a group of business clients as well as supporting the strategic agenda built by the HRBP’s.
As a Senior HR Manager, you will possess a solid knowledge of all core HR related topics impacting the employee life cycle. Responsible for the implementation of our corporate policies, processes and procedures. You will drive for improved service delivery. You will lead on projects or contribute to global initiatives when required, in full support of the Business you are aligned to.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior HR Manager you will:
Provides service, support and advice to the wider HR Community and employees in the delivery of the HR cycle, i.e. bonus/pay review, Talent Management, Probation, Performance Management, Recruitment and Employee Survey, Succession Planning.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, utilising the HR Function to deliver value to the business unit
Manages BU specific projects with client group in line with overall project plan (e.g. RIF’s, organizational restructures)
Seek opportunities to act as a change champion and influence business stakeholders on key change initiatives within client group (e.g. values and behaviors)
Analyse internal and external data to identify people and culture trends relevant to the business unit
Provide sound counsel to Senior Management of the designated business unit in relation to all people, diversity and Inclusion and culture strategies and plans
Highlight areas of people risk to the business unit, key stakeholders and HR function
Be a role model for the UKI People team in coaching/supporting them
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior HR Manager if your background includes:
Experience of managing and driving HR initiatives in a fast-paced, highly-matrixed environment
Broad experience in all aspects of HR Partnering including reward, employee relations, talent, succession planning, restructuring and leadership
Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
Good presentation skills both internally and client facing
Solid Business Acumen mindset
Very sound knowledge of localized Employment Law
Capacity to challenge the status quo
Agility, comfortable with change
