Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, Technical & Cloud Consulting Services
We are looking for a Sr. Technical Solutions Consultant to join our Legal Team. The Sr. Technical Solutions Consultant will manage the implementation of business intelligence solutions across the world. The role is responsible for advising and communicating with clients, providing technical configuration services, and ensuring timely and successful delivery of the solution.

We provide critical online and print information, decision support tools, software and services to lawyers who practice in law firms, in corporate legal departments and in the public sector. About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing all development activities for Thomson Reuters implementations, including:
Requirements gathering and documentation
Working with the project manager to guide the implementation plan
Developing custom solutions
Client training
Providing implementation services at various client locations as well as remotely at Thomson Reuters offices
Working with multiple client-stakeholders to develop, plan and implement client solutions
Providing appropriate direction, management, leadership and mentoring to the project team
Identifying risks and resolutions on assigned project(s)
Maintaining visibility on assigned project(s)
Nurturing, respecting, and strengthening client relationships
Identifying to the Thomson Reuters management any new services opportunities at existing clients
Designing, initiating, and handling technical designs and complex application features
Assisting software personnel in handling ongoing tasks as required
Building flexible data models and seamless integration points
Coordinating with other developers and software professionals
Developing and implementing appropriate technologies to troubleshoot functional issues and risks
Completing deliverables within deadlines and with high quality results
Working independently and as part of a team to achieve corporate targets and initiatives; and
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Technical Solutions Consultant if your background includes:
A post-secondary education in Engineering, Computer Science, Accounting or Business discipline and/or equivalent experience
5 years exposure in a technology consulting environment
The ability to create complex formulas, macros, and sophisticated formatting in Microsoft Excel
A strong understanding of SQL and relational databases
Basic financial reporting understanding
The ability to build and nurture strong client and peer relationships while working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
Proven ability to complete project deliverables on time and within scope
Knowledge of OLAP building concepts, RDBMS, Microsoft Analysis Services, and accounting/finance experience will be considered an asset.
The ability to travel, as you may be required to travel to North America, Europe, and Australia.
