Position summary

The Sr Learning Management Consultant will be researching and designing learning solutions for staff to best-practice industry standards and based on analyses of business needs to ensure commercial objectives are met. Designs and delivers learning solutions and programs. Monitor, measure and report upon the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for remedial activity where necessary, partnering with the HR function as required. This role will ensure that staff undertaking any learning & development activity will be helped to develop the knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes necessary to perform their job. Will assist in Learning Management projects.

About the Role:

  • Designs, develops & delivers learning solutions (courses, synchronous & asynchronous eLearning, performance support etc.) taking into consideration the most appropriate learning medium for the audience.
  • Anticipates customer needs; assess requirements and identify new solutions to learning and development. Issues instructions on standard practices and policy applications and follows up to determine compliance.
  • Effectively communicates difficult subject material by altering communication to audience.
  • Strives to engage the learner with creative solutions utilizing the latest learning technology in the eLearning, remote learning, classroom or video technology spaces.
  • May be involved in performance coaching in the business on an individual & team basis.
  • Takes part in learning & development projects.
  • Contributes to regional and global learning design/development projects or phases of larger projects.
  • Consults with business including senior function contacts to identify existing skills, learning & development needs and performance 'gaps'.
  • Works with business contacts including middle/senior managers to ensure learning activities support business objectives.
  • Works with the business to identify learning requirements vs. non learning requirements.
  • Closely monitors business satisfaction and required changes in performance.
  • Addresses learning design/delivery & works with business to support performance requirements.
  • Identifies opportunities to & encourages collaborative working with learning colleagues across the company/ functions to ensure efficient use of resources & effort.
  • Regularly works as part of wider global team on projects.
  • Maintains a body of learning material and expertise on behalf of the wider team in an area of personal specialism.
  • Works closely with the business and individuals post program to provide performance support including 1:1 coaching, program follow up, role modelling and specialised business performance support.

About You

  • At least 10 years work experience in LMD
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
  • Willing to Work on a mid-shift schedule
