We have an opportunity within our Content Operations team for a high-energy, motivated Senior Program Manager with proven project management skills combined with a strong business and technology acumen. In this role, you will support the delivery of strategic, enterprise-wide product content initiatives. These initiatives require collaboration with a variety of business and technology areas and involve multiple globally located businesses and project teams. You will also have the opportunity to influence the work of others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
About the role
In this opportunity as a Senior Program Manager, you will be accountable for:
Project Delivery: Manage all aspects of the program/project lifecycle to facilitate the successful delivery, as well as the metrics for reporting to the executive team; Oversee and monitor progress on complex and/or multiple projects relative to schedules, budgets and quality
Collaboration: Assemble cross-functional teams and assign individual responsibilities; provide project leadership, work direction, and manage the day-to-day activities of project team members
Change Management: Develop and lead the process for dealing with rapid major change; stay abreast of changes and trends in the industry and ensure the communication channels and processes are in place to notify key stakeholders so that plans can be amended and the necessary action taken
Thought Leadership: Provides thought leadership on all aspects of the program in order to ensure successful delivery. Establishes the appropriate tools and processes to meet project goals. Influences program sponsor to make the appropriate decisions and modifications in response to external influences on the program
Relationship building/Conflict resolution: Effectively communicates difficult concepts to program stakeholders and modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance; nsures appropriate sponsorship; efficiently manage project team conflicts, build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders and facilitate commitment and decision-making
Reporting: Estimate costs and timelines for the successful completion of each project to agreed scope and constraints; implement an effective project communication plan and operating rhythm, including provision of regular and accurate reporting
About you
You’re a fit for the Sr. Program Manager if you have:
Bachelor degree in computer science, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
10+ years of progressive program/project management experience, including implementation programs of cross-functional projects in a technology or matrix organizational environment
Project Management (PMP), Agile (Scrum Master, ACP) highly desirable with a strong focus on Business side and getting things done
Demonstrated experience managing teams through significant transformation with ambiguous scope and audacious vision
Strong project management experience with demonstrated achievements in planning, directing, and implementing multiple and concurrent large projects, both technical and non-technical
Demonstrated project planning and management skills with strong knowledge of project management methodology, software as well as resource allocation and budgeting
Experience leading cross-functional, remote and virtual project teams in a matrix organization
Ability to collaborate with a wide variety of sources: management, business and technical unit contacts
Experience interacting with senior management and business stakeholders
Strong knowledge of Service Now, SharePoint, Visio and Project Management tools
Some travel may be required- ability to travel up to 25%
