Position summary

We are looking for a technical  leader who is excited to lead a dynamic team of engineers skilled in a variety of technologies and capabilities and channel them in problem solving, building new platforms, features and services for our customers. This position requires experience in software architecture, designing, partnering with other technology stakeholder as well as teams. In this role, candidate should be a smart risk taker, an innovator who can deliver on big ideas and work with experts to execute them.

The candidate will provide technical leadership on various aspects of product design and development lifecycle, such as feasibility analysis, architecture, design, secure development practices, and testing.

Candidate will be responsible for meeting development schedules and ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and product requirements. 

Development time will be spent in designing, prototyping, coding, testing and deploying technical solutions. In a support capacity the team will assist content owners and publishing teams with issue resolution, root cause analysis and provide recommendations

Key Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience on leading multiple projects, complex product development cycles in Agile
  • environment
  • Defining the product and technology vision for critical aspects of the program
  • Skilled at leading teams through the transition from ideation to execution
  • Experience in defining project opportunities and understand customer requirements, facilitates
  • requirements collection, leads the transition from ideation to execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Should effectively communicate project
  • expectations to all team members and stakeholders including client senior management, business
  • representatives, partners, customers, and consultants
  • Spring Boot/ Spring Cloud
  • Spring Security
  • Java 8 or above wth proficiency in lambda and Streams primarily
  • Knowledge and experience on application scalability, security and monitoring technologies
  • Redhat unix/ Linux
  • CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins/Puppet
  • GIT or similar source code control system
  • Performance
