About the Role
As a Web Designer on the FindLaw Digital Solutions team, you will work closely with project managers, content strategists, designers, and other marketing experts to create mobile first designs for Thomson Reuters' customers within the Legal - Small Law, FindLaw segment.
The FindLaw Digital Solutions team is looking for a passionate Web Designer to join our robust team of Awesome digital professionals. Our customers rely on our marketing expertise to build world-class, online solutions to achieve their marketing goals. We focus on high-quality execution providing our customers with an exceptional experience.

In this opportunity as a Web Designer - FindLaw Digital Solutions, you will be responsible for:
Customer Consultation
Client facing role; candidates must be comfortable working directly with customers providing productive feedback.
Complete virtual consultations to gather information, inform project goals and align customer expectations with strong influence/negotiation skills
Present designs educating customers on the “why” regarding site elements/layout, mobile/user experience, site performance etc.
Partnership
Partner virtually with core team members, internal stakeholders & overseas employees to create websites, blogs, landing pages etc. utilizing a central creative brief.
Share key information with other designers/developers to create award winning designs that meet or exceed quality, current design standards.
Experience delegating design responsibilities, trusting partners to complete designs and revisions.
Project Management
Responsible for managing workflow, duration, and design delivery with customer approval.
Complete projects on or before time and within budget.
About You
You could be a fit for the Web Designer - FindLaw Digital Solutions role if you have the following experience/competencies:
Web & Graphic Design
2 years of graphic design/web design experience.
Portfolio of mobile first design work with a robust web design component.
WordPress experience, including CSS, Divi, Elementor/page builder plugins.
Creating mobile first designs.
Understanding/interest in accessibility, A11y & UX design.
Experience with website maintenance to add content, convert images, edit text, graphics, custom assets/plugins as necessary.
Site troubleshooting & defects adhering to quality and industry standards.
Software
Adobe Creative Cloud suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
WordPress, Divi, CSS.
Microsoft Office suite including Teams.
Understanding of JavaScript.
Knowledge of Wrike or other project management programs.
Project Management
A self-starter managing multiple customer projects at various stages in fulfillment, flexing to meet business needs.
Strong written/verbal communication skills.
Strong organization, project management and time management skills.
Education
B.A./B.S. preferred (High school diploma or equivalent required).
