We have a new role for a Sales / BDM on Thomson Reuters’ market leading online legal document service, working alongside Product Management to drive new sales / partnerships. This role is focused on new business and delivering sales by bringing innovative online compliance software to the accounting, legal and corporate markets. Working in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders, the role targets current and new accounts within medium to large accounting and legal firms whilst seeking to expand into complementary customer segments. About the Role In this new Sales / Business Development Manager role, you will be responsible for: Driving new sales and up-sell opportunities to expand our product’s use within national accounting / legal firms. Generating new business / partnership opportunities, often working with other Thomson Reuters sales representatives (e.g. Strategic Account Managers) and external business partners. Prospecting and demonstrating Thomson Reuters’ capability to customers and prospects, developing proposals, negotiating contracts and closing new business. Delivering revenue, generating new opportunities, and following and developing leads provided by other Thomson Reuters colleagues. Gathering feedback from customers and prospects, maintaining accurate customer contact and opportunity data in the appropriate CRM system. Building knowledge of competition, conducting win/loss analysis, maintaining strong awareness of market and industry trends. Developing product, industry and market knowledge. About you: You’re a fit for the role if you have: Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional field sales or SaaS business development role in a complex sales environment, ideally with time selling SaaS accounting solutions. Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets. Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation, presentation and consultative sales skills. Ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders. What’s in it For You?
