Lead & Deliver Leads the functional design & management of new & existing solutions and tools Leads the creation & presentation of estimates for overall cost, skill, effort & timeline for new & existing solutions from a functional perspective Works with their direct reports team, project managers to plan, execute, test, pilot and rollout solutions and tools Identifies & builds project teams via matrix support organizations to ensure appropriate skills & experience are represented for success Monitors project progress & status to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery Ensures compliance with standards, processes & best practices as established Collaborates with peers to create roadmaps & plans Demonstrates solutions to internal clients from C-level to end user with a focus on Financial and Controlling Own the design, configuration and technical solution architecture in the areas of SAP FICO- GL, AP, AR, FA, CO-CCA, CO-PC, CO-PA and integration with SD and MM Advise Internal customers in their SAP transformation, using SAP Best Practices, standard out-of-the-box S4 HANA functionalities instead of custom-code. Understanding trends and new developments in respective field, Specifically in S4 HANA and Cloud products Develop Finance Collateral and thought leadership content focused on SAP Actively work with Internal teams to develop pipeline for Finance service/solutions offerings within the Organization Provide insight and thought leadership to develop innovative assets, including differentiation points of view and methodologies Perform an advisory role on different projects that include SAP S/4 Finance Facilitate discovery sessions, design workshops (Explore), assessments, planning sessions for projects Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Build strong partnerships with Finance, Global process owners, Shared services, Master data team, and key individuals within other cross functional organizations Partner with Finance, Solutions, Architecture, Product management to bring new technology solutions to solve business problems by providing subject matter expertise on leading technology within Finance/Sourcing applications Partner with Business Stake holders/Product management/ Demand to set priorities based on business needs, resource capacity, risk exposure and interdependencies Act as an advisor to IT strategic planning efforts, by helping business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for technological innovation efforts Introduce and accelerate new technologies and methodologies to expedite and support digital transformation Continuous Improvement Promote the use of a shared resources and application roadmap to reduce costs and improve information flow Leverage feedback and insights from Finance team to drive continuous improvement in the application and solutions portfolio Engage in Portfolio Reviews to analyze portfolio level metrics, and review progress, resolve dependencies and risks, review capacity allocations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement Plan and execute periodic technology initiatives in partnership with Internal stake holders on internal objectives and technology trends About You You’re a fit for the role of Financials Applications Manager- if you have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, MBA, Business or equivalent from an accredited college/university; and/or other advanced professional credential is preferred 9+ years of SAP FICO experience implementing, architecting, and managing the full lifecycle of global financial applications on SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA with integrations to Ariba, Oracle, Workday, Banks etc 9+ years of progressively responsible of SAP applications across Configuration, technology design, development, Testing and Release 9+ years of managing large global teams and extensive experience collaborating with multiple functional and technical teams including partners, stakeholders, contractors and consultants to deliver projects Understanding of Business processes, Deployments, project management methodologies like Waterfall, JIRA and leading practices 7+ years experience managing team members Experience in managing cutting-edge technologies as well as modernizing legacy technology Experience in delivering large complex applications with focus on Global deployments, Enhancements and support Progressive experience leading teams, mentoring engineers/staff, evaluating performance and providing performance feedback Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems Ability to influence peers and leadership Good presentation, persuasion, and communication skills Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines; effective communication with senior management, Internal Stakeholders and Peers What’s in it for you: You will have the opportunity to work for a company that has a market dominant position for both content and technology and is passionate about giving back to the community Learning and Working on cutting edge Technology / Processes Base salary and a variable compensation that is directly related to your success Excellent benefits Package Do you want to be part of a team helping re-invent the way knowledge professionals work?
