Graduate Sales Executive - Reuters Events This full-time, hybrid role will be based out of our London office in Canary Wharf with a May 2023 start date. Reuters Events brings together Reuters globally trusted brand, scale and editorial excellence aligned with domain expertise. We provide content-led conferences for professionals in highly specialized industry sectors to complement our extensive, in-depth content. Reuters Events exists to deliver the intelligence and foster the relationships that shape strategies and safeguard successes at leading companies worldwide. About the Role As a Graduate Sales Executive, you will: Take a seat within a driven, highly motivated sales team and have a golden opportunity to learn the business from the ground up. Be part of a collaborative team that sells delegate spaces and tickets across our global portfolio of events. Work with the hottest leads across a variety of industry sectors will receive commission for every single sale you make. Use your excellent customer service skills to qualify and nurture sales leads. Close individual and group delegate registrations for senior level ‘business to business’ conferences worldwide. Be comfortable working to targets and speaking with decision makers at leading organisations. Receive training on the sales techniques required to be a successful sales executive. Have the potential to progress into a consultative business development role focusing on higher level exhibition and sponsorship packages OR into a conference production role looking at creating high end, commercially viable events where you will gain a wide range of transferrable skills. To be our Graduate Sales Executive, you will likely: Be motivated to work hard and carve out a successful career in sales or conferences. Have a love of learning and be interested in how current affairs and global changes can affect a variety of industries. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills Be comfortable engaging with senior level executives from major organizations.
