    Position summary

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

    • Ability to develop complex Object-Oriented ABAP objects independently.
    • Gather business, process and integration requirements between OneSource Indirect Tax Determination and SAP (SD, FI, MM)
    • Lead requirements and analysis workshops with clients to define business, process, functional and data mapping requirements
    • Perform Pricing and Tax related configurations for SD, MM and FI modules and develop ABAP programs to integrate OneSource Determination and SAP
    • Analyze SAP code and functionality to design and develop custom solutions as per requirements.
    • Configure OneSource Indirect Tax Determination for integration with SAP.
    • Coordinate technical implementation with the client, providing technical expertise necessary to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
    • Prepare and execute test scripts and test cases
    • Ability to maintain a SAP ECC, S/4HANA system and take care of simple maintenance tasks like User maintenance, Authorizations, Archiving.
    • Write Technical design document before development begins

    Qualification:

    Education: Masters or Bachelor’s Engineering degree.

    Required Skills (Must Have’s):

    • Must have good interpersonal and communication skills – written and verbal
    • Must have experience in consulting or supporting clients in the US, APAC or Europe – either over conference calls or in-person
    • Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking
    • Must have 4+ years of developing ABAP programs for SD, MM, and/or FI.
    • Must have 4+ years of experience of supporting or implementing for SD, MM, and/or FI.
    • Must have solid understanding of O2C (order to cash) and P2P (procure to pay) business processes related to SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA functionalities and configuration
    • Must be skilled in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
    • Must have experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts for SAP ECC and SAP S/4 HANA implementations
    • Experience working with clients to determine transaction tax requirements (VAT), particularly with enterprise financial solutions is highly desired.
    • Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE, Sovos, Avalara and/or Vertex) is highly desired
    • Custom report development using SAP framework
    • Custom UI development using SAP framework

    Desired Skills (Nice to have but not mandatory):

    • SQL experience would be a plus. 
    • Experience in developing enterprise-class solutions using tech such as Java / .NET would be a plus
    • CI/CD on cloud (preferably AWS or OCI) would be a plus
    •  SD/MM/FI certification desirable
