Lead Business Systems Analyst Position overview The role is within Corporate Tax and Trade group for Onesource Statutory Reporting product. The Lead Business Analyst function works as a liaison between application developers, content developers, business stakeholder and clients to determine requirements for the application and Line management and leadership of a small team of Business analysts. The development team adopts an agile approach and preferably candidate should have prior experience working in Agile environment. Role and responsibilities Support content teams Recommend best practice regarding development of localised content using the global platform. Liaise with content teams in various global locations to assist with understanding of the software capabilities, identification of defects and solutions. Support development team Communicate with developers to assist with understanding the requirements for a new feature or defect solution. Testing new features and solutions. Feedback further requirements and defects. Requirements analysis Work with the global asset manager and other business analysts to analyse requests from content teams and end users. Design and propose software changes to address these requests. Prioritise work items Assist in the prioritization and scoping of work items for iterative development planning process. Work with Product managers and developers to detail out the requirements, create stories and analyze defects. Support QA team Guide QA team in developing automated test functions to maximize test coverage of key software functions. Assist in identifying and clarifying issues with the software following automated test detection. Able to plan tasks necessary to lead to the production of adequate business and system functional requirements.
