Manager - Finance Data Engineering and Architecture

Required Experience and Skills: Minimum 8+ years working and implementation experience in a fast-paced corporate environment Experience in Finance Data management from SAP BW (Business Warehouse) to downstream systems using ETL/BI Technique Experience developing policies focused on optimizing data pipelines, architectures and data sets. Experience in SQL, Data Warehouse/Data Lake and data modelling Experience with data modeling, data integration, and data management systems. Strong familiarity with Financial systems, data inter-dependencies across numerous systems and participate in system audit Familiarity of any scripting language: Python, PowerShell, VBS Fair understanding of Data Strategy, Data Governance Process Must demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, and a passion for the insights that result from those analyses, together with a strong understanding of the data and collection processes needed to fuel that analysis. Must have a passion for serving others, work well in a team, be self-motivated, and be a problem-solver. About a Role: Work across finance organization; function as a subject matter expert with an excellent understanding of relevant data, analytics, processes and technologies Architecture Strategy & Roadmap - define and update solution roadmaps for Data architectures Architecture design for future and existing Data and ELT/ETL Architecture Solutions, ensure that technology components used fit with the overall technology strategy. Ensure also that the architecture is communicated, understood and adhered to. Architecture Governance – run the Data Design Authority, work vendor partners and participate in the Solution Review board to ensure that solutions are governed appropriately. Lead requirement gathering sessions to collaborate with business to identify right data set, business logic and BI toolset to support decision making process Lead Finance transformation engagements involving strategy.
