    Position summary

    Manager /Senior Manager Financial GTM, Legal Government

    The Manager / Senior Manager Finance role will primarily provide end to end finance support for the Government sub-segment within Legal Segment and report to Director Finance Decision Support and Insights Group, Government and Digital Products. This role partners with CE sales leadership team to drive sales performance and revenue growth, provide decision support, and help steer and execute the overall business strategy. This leader will be collaborative and partner across teams to drive results and support Business and Finance Change program.

    About the Role

    In this opportunity as a Manager / Senior Manager Finance, you will:

    • Have ownership of GTM channel planning and support including structure, compensation, and quotas
    • Participate actively in development and execution of strategic business plans aimed at growing the business including overall renewal strategy
    • Perform analytics and lead the delivery of accurate and timely sales and revenue financial results
    • Partner closely with the sales and finance leaders to operationalize the plan/forecast
    • Develop domain expertise and understanding of key drivers impacting sales and revenue
    • Ensure effective business partner engagement to support and influence teams in making sound strategic decisions for the business
    • Develop solid relationships with all areas of the business and demonstrate an ability to be an effective and trusted advisor
    • Communicate effectively to senior business and finance leaders, including the communication of complex ideas clearly
    • Manage workflow and development of Financial Analysts
    • Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as necessary
    • Manage a small team of analysts; mentor and coach them to reach their potential

    About You

    You’re a fit for the role of Manager / Senior Manager Finance if your background includes:

    • College degree required and graduate degree or certification in business or finance (such as MBA or CPA) strongly preferred
    • Experience: 6-10+ years of experience in a Finance role
    • Experience supporting sales high performing sales and retention organization
    • Experience evaluating customer data and trends to identify opportunity

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Proactive, very organized, ability to multitask, managing time and competing priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Self-starter with proven ability to work autonomously, collaborate and influence key leaders within the context of a complex, matrix organization to drive results
    • Excellent communication and people skills; Ability to openly and confidently story tell with senior management and challenge/influence all areas of the business
    • Strategic and critical thinker
    • Familiarity with accounting and financial reporting
    • Demonstrate adoption of the TR Mindsets and Behaviors
