Practical Law, a Thomson Reuters business, is looking for an intern who has completed their first or second year at an ABA-accredited law school to work with our Practical Law Litigation team. About the Role In this opportunity as a Practical Law Litigations Intern you will: Conduct legal research on various issues and work on content projects within our Practical Law Litigation team. Engage in quality assurance and review of new content and links, analyze, and summarize changes to primary law, and provide additional support to Practical Law’s Litigation Team with respect to Practical Law content Assist editors in writing new content. Summarize changes to primary law. Provide additional support, as needed. About You You’re a fit for the role of a Practical Law Litigation Intern if you: Demonstrate strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Demonstrate an ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately. Have an impressive command of grammar, punctuation, and plain English. Consistently pay strong attention to detail and have good organizational skills. Can work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects. As required by the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL) for New York City based roles, the base compensation range for this position is $ 18- $20 range. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following (New York City, San Francisco, Culver City). The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $18 - $20. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
