We are looking for an expert in SAP Change and Release Management who can handle transports, object locking, downgrade protection, retrofits, and has a strategic understanding of SAP landscapes. We operate in a complex and changing landscape (Cloud S/4HANA & BW, on-premises ECC6, …), the ideal candidate should be able to support emergency/temporary environments, have strong knowledge of SAP release automation, the SAP DevOps toolset, and the release management compliance and audit requirements. Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of SAP Change Management, including the oversight of contractors in support of all SAP project initiatives Consult on SAP Change Management strategy and architecture strategies in support of parallel, changing projects in a complex, changing landscape. Oversight and support of all SAP changes (S/4Hana, PI, Portal, BW, ECC, GRC). Oversight of SOX Audit for SAP changes and transports promotion. Support Release Management Team on annual project planning. Support of the SAP environment strategy, both on-premises and in the cloud (infrastructure build automation, Data masking, environment refreshes, …) Oversight of the ActiveControl system and support integration with ADO and workflow automation Train and support developpers and partners on our automation toolset Implement KPI Metrics tracking and reporting Develop, test, and maintain build system, CI/CD framework and deployment tools Automate and streamline deployment processes Lead efforts in automation, continuous deployment, build, and configuration management Assess new technology projects and tools, migrate our environments to latest versions to keep up with the rapid pace of change Suggest and drive improvements in how the team works and collaborate Maintain a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline. At least 5 years leading enterprise project initiatives, with significant experience in multiple SAP system implementations/upgrades. Experience in a complex SAP environment with multiple landscapes and competing business project implementations. Ability to communicate clearly and precisely, both verbally and in writing Ability to collaborate effectively with others as well as work independently Passion for learning new technologies and programming skills Strong technical problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in leading large cross-functional teams through all phases of implementing solutions, delivering valuable products and services on time, within budget Programming experience in an industry standard language like: Java, Go, Python, C/C++, or JavaScript Experience with cloud such as Cloud formation templates, Terraform templates, Infrastructure as Code, Cloud cost management Do you want to be part of a team helping re-invent the way knowledge professionals work?
