The Segment Collections Leader is accountable for delivering on cash and AR aging targets at the segment level. They will build relationships and integrate as an active member of the segment finance team, driving successful resolution of disputes and acceleration of overdue conversion to cash for non-disputed items. They will also deliver the successful implementation of strategies that bring sustainable success at the segment level (e.g., autopay). About the Role In this opportunity as Segment Collections Leader, you will: Deliver on monthly and yearly segment cash goals Deliver on AR aging targets Build relationships and be seen as a value-added player by the segment finance teams and by the businesses Establish an effective communication channel between Segment Finance leadership and Credit & Collections leadership Partner on problem solving – both design & execution Accountable for delivering on conversion of overdue escalations to cash; including all required daily activities to resolve issues impacting cash payment Monitor day-to-day operations with a focus on delivering on key performance metrics – both across leading and lagging indicators Search, identify, validate, and propose best practices to be incorporated into the global standards and subsequently implemented locally Communicate openly and encourage free information flow while engaging cross-functional teams to solve problems and add value Key Deliverables: Deliver on monthly and yearly cash goals for the segment Deliver on AR aging targets for the segment Deliver on Top overdue escalations – on cash conversion Continue to drive improved health of the AR portfolio Mitigate need for increased reserves due to aged AR Accelerate dispute resolution Accelerate conversion of AR to cash About You You’re a fit for the role of Segment Collections Leader if your background includes: Undergraduate degree required 10+ years of experience leading an organization Proven track record of delivering on Cash and aged AR targets Demonstrable experience building senior leader level relationship Extensive experience preparing material and presenting to senior leaders – with clear and concise articulation of what’s at stake, risk and mitigation Project management experience is a plus Logical thinker with basic analytical skills Demonstrates strong leadership (e.g. decisiveness and be seen as a reliable decision-maker by others, act in line with company values and integrity, deal with and lead through ambiguity) Builds effective relationships and partners with others to develop joint solutions What’s in it For You?
