Job Description: An Implementation consultant is responsible for successfully implementing the software package and solutions for clients across geographies. This position is ideally suitable for a candidate with sound knowledge of Global Trade Management (GTM) that includes one or more of the following - Import/ Export Compliance, Supply Chain Compliance, Free Trade Agreement, Denied/Restricted Party screening. Roles & Responsibilities: Able to work as a team member or a team lead, have regular interaction with customers, and maintain good working relationships with the customer. Able to work on multiple project deliverables in line with customer objectives and milestones Able to work across multiple team(s) within Thomson Reuters (development, support, presales, propositions, sales) in a collaborative setup and bring out the best to deliver projects on time Able to quickly gain working knowledge of products/solutions of Global Trade and implement the solution(s) as an implementation consultant. Good knowhow of implementation lifecycle and/or SDLC lifecycle is a must. Should have performed hands-on implementation for a minimum of 1 lifecycle IT project Train the client on product features and on how to use it meaningfully. Deliver outstanding customer service conveying commitment to ensuring timely and quality solutions to customer requirements. Travel to client location for implementation(s) and/or sales demo activities as required Skills & Requirements: A 12+3 or a 12+4 degree from a reputed university Relevant experience of 2 to 15 years of Global Trade knowledge Competent with all Microsoft Office applications Technical knowhow of SQL is required. Coding experience is welcome, but not mandatory Working knowledge of large IT systems such as SAP, Oracle welcome Hands on problem solver, excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
