    Position summary

    provides a data-driven perspective on Thomson Reuters products and customers. Every member of this team plays a significant role in determining the future of Thomson Reuters products, including products and analysis driven by AI and Machine Learning.

    About the Role

    • Lead a team of full-stack product analysts, partnering with product teams to create data-driven understanding, insights, and solutions that inform product decisions.

    • Collaborate with product, design, and development leaders to understand their product objectives and develop a data-driven culture for product development.

    • Influence product decisions through data-driven insights based on customer behavior, progress towards product goals, and the business and customer impact of product investments.

    • Generate new opportunities to delight customers by targeting metrics around product performance, adoption, retention, and Net Promoter Score

    • Recruit and develop product analytics talent, cultivating an empowering work environment that encourages innovation and learning across a remote and hybrid team.

    • Advance best practices around agile software development, communicating analytics results, and in-product experimentation.

    • Partner with peer analytics teams to increase the utilization of in-product data, develop automated reporting and dashboards, and develop advanced analytics solutions.

    About You

    • 6+ years of relevant analytics experience (e.g. product analytics, digital analytics, data science, quantitative market research).

    • 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams related to data and analytics.

    • Experience using data analysis to influence decision-making, with a demonstrated impact on product development, product roadmaps, customer experience, or product metrics. Prior experience with in-product experimentation is an asset.

    • Proven ability to drive alignment and influence within a matrix organization, building connections across business (product), design, research, customer experience and technical partners.

    • Ability to build strong, productive relationships with stakeholders, understanding their objectives, setting goals, and communicating actionable results.

    • In-depth understanding of the modern data and analytics technology stack, including cloud data and BI platforms.

    • Hands-on experience in multiple types of data analysis - descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive.

    • Experience with product analytics tools such as Pendo, Amplitude, Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.

    • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, or other languages is a plus.

    • Basic familiarity with the construction of AI/ML models is a plus.
