Senior Software Engineer This position will carry out development tasks associated with the organization’s strategic initiatives. Projects include enhancements to existing revenue producing products, maintenance of existing products, integration efforts focusing on Thomson Reuters’ initiatives, integration with 3rd party applications or services and new product offerings. About The Role: In this opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Design, architecture, security and implementation of web, cloud and windows based software systems using .Net, SQL Server, Visual Studio and programming languages like C# and VB hosted in AWS cloud. Develop, maintain and enhance in-house revenue management and implementation systems using (ASP.NET Webforms, .NET,MVC, CSS,C#,VB/SQL Server) and contract management application in cloud (Salesforce.com) Integration of third party software-Conga (Apttus) CLM Develop robust test plans and perform system testing and application debugging in Visual Studio IDE End-to-end responsibility for solutions managed in this role Provide end user and production support Manage code, perform code reviews to ensure coding standards and changes in a team environment with source/version control utilities like TFS and GitHub. Facilitate, gather and document business user requirements for development projects Provide technology solutions to support analysis and reporting efficiency projects Suggest technical alternatives and enhance/streamline processes and systems Develop and implement coding standards, security protocols like SSO, SAFE and MFA and maintain overall responsibility of technical systems in line with Thomson Reuters technical standards Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards and programming Provide accurate and timely status reports on work progress. Other duties will include; Production support and subsequent defect research, assistance in technical and/or system documentation may be needed to aid support teams.
