About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Build and maintain high-performing, front-end big data visualizations and analytics Engage the TRSS analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation Demo new software solutions as needed Learn and expand your skill set on the job Work with a variety of technologies, anchoring a small team across a complex network About You You’re a fit for the role of Senior Software Engineer if you are/have: Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field or equivalent experience US Citizen able to acquire and maintain a Security Clearance 2+ years experience in Java, Javascript, Groovy and Grails Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Strong familiarity with React, Vue.js, D3, Bootstrap, and other similar sites and tools Preferred qualifications: Experience with Big Data analytics, especially with ETL and data wrangling Experience with Information retrieval technologies such as Solr, Lucene and/or ElasticSearch Experience with Redis, Snowflake and Unix/Linux What’s in it For You?
