Joining the team focused on developing, supporting, marketing, or selling ThoughtTrace is an exciting opportunity to grow the newest product in the Thomson Reuters LegalTech portfolio. Education, experience, and qualifications are minimum requirements only. We look for people who are truly different from what we are today and will accelerate us forward in leaps and bounds instead of incremental steps. We are looking for a consistent quota-buster to help drive forward our next phase of growth. You should have experience in the value selling methodology and in selling software such as Contract Analytics software, Contract Lifecycle Management, or Enterprise Content Management. You should have a track record of overachievement in new logo acquisition with the ability to drive high levels of outbound prospecting activity. Location - Remote based position, can be based anywhere in the US. About the Role: In this opportunity as a Sr. Sales Executive, you will: Sales: The ideal candidate is a proven hunter and can truly be a trusted advisor to his or her prospects and customers. You will be building your business. Building Relationships: Focus will be on selling an AI and Machine Learning Platform Sales Process: Development and execution of sales plan to achieve and exceed quotas within the assigned vertical market following the company methodology for the sales process.; Accurately delivering sales forecasts to sales leadership.; Managing all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting for new leads, deal qualification, demonstration, pricing, negotiation, and closing. Product Proposition: Providing feedback to sales leadership, engineering, and marketing regarding what you are hearing from customers on how we can improve our product. Drive Results: Proactively hunting for new prospects in your given vertical market with a suite of prospecting tools. Client and Market Intelligence: Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions. About You: You're a fit for the role of Sr. Sales Executive if you have: Bachelor’s degree, J.D., or equivalent amount of experience Minimum of 5 years direct field sales with successful track record of closing complex deals with both business, IT influencers and C-Level Ability to handle a mix of new business activities including prospecting Knowledge of selling software to industry or persona specific markets Previous customer success experience with onboarding, adoption or renewal programs Understanding of value selling methodology concepts and passion to be a trusted advisor to your prospects and customers Excellent written, verbal, and relationship building skills What's in it for you! Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states (CA, CO, CT, NV, WA) and/or remote. The target total cash compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $182,000 - $338,000. This is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay and any target sales incentive are part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
