About the Role Managing direct tax risks for a portfolio of countries in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) the EMEA Tax Manager is a key member of the Thomson Reuters EMEA Tax team. The EMEA Tax Manager will provide tax advice to the business on a variety of matters as they arise, collaborating with members of the global tax team and other corporate departments to provide direct tax support as necessary. The role involves a mix of tax advisory and tax reporting activities. The EMEA Tax Manager will have the opportunity to gain exposure to various country tax regimes and perform a wide range of activities including restructuring projects (business restructuring, entity reduction), M&A (due diligence, integration etc.), tax audits and transfer pricing. The EMEA Tax Manager must be articulate, enjoy being part of a small but dynamic international team and capable of delivering on responsibilities in a diligent and timely manner. An interest in process improvement and use of tax technology would be particularly valued.
