Telecom Expense Analyst

The Telecom Expense Analyst role partners with our 3rd Party Vendors, Business Segments, Finance and Sourcing. About the Role In this opportunity as Telecom Expense Analyst you will: Manage all aspects of our Fixed Line and Mobile expense management and procurement platforms. Resolve queries associated with any relevant invoicing, analyze the data collected through any audit, and take action with carriers in the interest of TR. Identify opportunities for improvements to processes and data quality reporting. Identify and improve the Fixed and Mobile inventory. Identify and manage which carrier contracts are due for renewal each year. Deliver ad hoc reporting as required to support the function overall. About You You’re a fit for the role of Telecom Expense Analyst if your background includes: 5 – 10 years professional experience in the telecommunications field Working knowledge of the telecom industry, familiarity with carriers (local and long distance) and technology (global perspective) In-depth knowledge of both legacy and current telecommunication delivery technologies, i.e., Voice: ISDN, IPT and Data: Sonet, T1/E1, OCX, Ethernet, and Mobility Working knowledge of industry acronyms, e.g., POTS, PRI, etc. Ability to interpret carrier invoices and customer service records. Experience with carrier portals to access inventory, submit inquiries and access ticketing systems. Strong attention to minute details across large volume of data/information Strong Excel skills and experience Demonstration of professional manners, including effective communication skills, organization, and strong follow through Ability to work independently, as well as coordinate efforts with the larger team. Working knowledge of the telecom expense management process Flexibility to collaborate with customers globally. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Must be initiative-taking, dynamic and able to work with minimal supervision. What’s in it For You?
