Android Software Engineer - TikTok Account

Responsibilities

• Design, test, deploy and maintain user account products.
• Build reusable Android software components for interfacing with our back-end platforms.
• Work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android.
• Evaluate new features technical trade offs and raise code quality of the team.
• Conduct system designs and code reviews.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams on join-effort projects.
• Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related areas.
• 3+ years of working experience.
• 2+ years experience in native Android development.
• Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Java, Kotlin.
• Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
• Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
• Good problem-solving, analytical thinking capabilities and exceptional attention to details.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

#LI-JC5 The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $106400 - $237500 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.​Our company benefits are designed to convey company culture and values, to create an efficient and inspiring work environment, and to support our employees to give their best in both work and life.
