Associate Manager, Communications Strategy

mission through all of our user-facing communication efforts, helping establish TikTok as our users' favorite daily experience. We're looking for a highly organized, independent Associate Manager to develop and execute our user communications strategy.

Responsibilities The Associate Manager will support the User Communications Strategy team to ensure our users receive timely, valuable communication. In this role, you'll create and execute scaled communication strategies through push notifications, in-app messages and additional communication channels for TikTok users in North America, Australia and New Zealand. You must be capable of sorting through many competing priorities, defining processes, executing with precision, and succeeding in a complex and fast-paced environment. This role will liaise with the Content Partnerships, Marketing, Tools and Reporting, Content Programming and Product Operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and strategize content calendars to support business KPIs across communication channels
• Develop A/B testing roadmaps, continuing to optimize based on insights and data
• Build, program and schedule push notification/in-app message campaigns while managing the push notification/in-app message calendar
• Lead and optimize operational workflows with cross-functional teams including Content, Partnerships, Marketing, UX Writing and Product
• Manage day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of issues
• Direct and support priority campaigns across multiple communication channels
• Act as an expert and a go-to resource for cross-functional teams to advise on best practices and strategy
• 3-5 years of communications strategy, digital marketing, brand marketing, or advertising agency experience in a highly cross-functional role
• Proven track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, and managing multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail
• Team player, ability to engage on all levels of the organization
• Experience working on projects involving cross-functional team collaboration
• Excellent writing, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about entertainment and digital content; Knowledge of the media landscape and major trends in the industry
• Solid understanding of the TikTok user experience

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $84000 - $137777 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
