About The Team Speech & Audio (SA) team provides industry-leading ML algorithm capabilities and complete voice product solutions for all business lines, including B2B as well. We empower businesses in the fields of speech/song synthesis, audio understanding, music intelligence, etc., and solve basic problems such as audio and video content understanding and creation, music information retrieval, and human-computer voice interaction.

The Backend Engineer team of music intelligence group is committed to promoting the cutting-edge backend system of music information retrieval (MIR) and music content understanding, following up the leading engineering work in the industry, improving the engineering influence and building technical barriers of SA team in related fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build a cutting-edge music retrieval system architecture to support the development and performance optimisation of music retrieval systems with large-scale music databases;
  • Create a high-performance music system algorithm engine, which will be based on a high-performance deep learning inference framework;
  • Build an ultra-large-scale online service cluster to support ultra-high concurrent online music service traffic;
  • Support the landing of cutting-edge algorithms and apply them to actual business;
  • Deploy and maintain services with physical machine clusters;
  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Computer Science or related;
  • At least 3 years or more working experiences;
  • Preferred to have rich experiences and strong skills in development of technologies in some of the following areas: music information retrieval, music content understanding, distributed storage and computing systems, vector database, etc;
  • Familiar with at least one programming language, including but not limited to: C++/Go/Python;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong computer science foundation and coding skills;
  • Possess strong collaboration spirit towards cross-country team members;
  • Preferred to have experiences in database or KV components (RocksDB, LevelDB, TIKV);
