TikTok Content Experience team is responsible for exploring and building new, fun, and innovative content creation and consumption experience on TikTok. Our goal is to continuously inspire creativity, and entertain our users with diverse and informative content. We are a full-stack team that is working at the intersection of product and engineering. You will be able to design, implement, and ship new product experiences that will deliver fun and joy to millions of TikTok users. As a backend Software Engineer on our Content Experience team, you will: • Work closely with our talented mobile and product team to develop and ship new, innovative product experiences. • Improve system design and architecture to ensure high stability and performance of the services. • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality work in rapid product development • BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related major, with 2-5+ years working experience. • Experienced in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications. • Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Java, Go, C++, Python. • Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms. • Have good team communication and collaboration skills.
