Position summary

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. Our Trust & Safety (T&S) team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. As a Vendor Manager within T&S, you'll join a talented, multi-disciplinary team that is raising the bar for organizational effectiveness while driving on T&S's highest priority initiatives. You'll act as a vendor program manager, subject matter expert and trusted partner to T&S Leadership. You will own and drive on contracting and onboarding needs, facilitate end-to-end process with our legal, finance, and procurement teams, and partner on long-term vendor strategy to achieve new levels of organizational maturity and impact. If you are a practical problem-solver with Vendor Management experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, this role is for you. Responsibilities - Partner with T&S leadership to develop regional vendor management strategy, operational procedures and execution - Build and nurture vendor partnerships; assist TikTok in building better and stronger relationships with third parties - Drive the vendor onboarding and contracting process on behalf of T&S; partner with legal, finance and procurement teams throughout - Maintain and monitor an effective database of all relevant 3rd party information - Lead periodic vendor strategy and operations business reviews for the programs - Manage vendor budget effectively (fixed & variable costs) including monitoring purchase orders, invoicing, etc to ensure that plans are met and that invoices are paid on time - Verify vendors are fully compliant with all confidentiality and other agreements, as well as Supplier code of Conduct Qualifications: - 5+ years experience in outsourcing strategy consulting and/or managing relationships with vendors - Organized, process-minded and detail-oriented - Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment - Great communication skills, including a track record of successful presentation to senior management - Proven ability to develop strong business relationships and work with all levels within an organization - Analytical and quantitative skills Even Better If: - Experience in Trust & Safety or a comparable technical field or complex global organization - Experience with vendor contract formation and negotiation
