We have various Diversity and Inclusion trainings, workshops and employee panel series and Unconscious bias training is just one topic we offer. We hosted the first week-long TikTok Inclusion Summit in March 2021 to engage employees around three key pillars: Learn, Live, and Lead. The event featured a number of sessions, shedding light on how leaders can foster diversity and inclusion both on our platform and in our organization. We&#39;re humbled and grateful for the opportunity to continually improve ourselves as a platform, community, and organization. We take great pride and responsibility in knowing that we provide people of all races, ethnicities, cultures, disabilities, genders, and identities a platform to be seen and heard, but we know there&#39;s still much more work to done.

We&#39;re always looking for opportunities to diversify the talent pipeline and we strive to build teams that are as diverse as the community on TikTok. For example in October 2021, our University Recruiting team partnered with TikTok BLXCK employees, our Black Employee Resource Group, to host the inaugural HBCU Open House at TikTok virtual event. We invited more than 48,000 students from over 100 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) across the country to hear about initiatives focused on the Black community, TikTok job opportunities, and what the employee experience is like at TikTok. Another example is we launched our partnership with COOP Careers in Fall 2020. COOP Careers aims to close the social capital gap by recruiting and investing in diverse, low-income, and first-generation grads from urban public colleges. As part of this partnership, we engaged in 15 events for COOP students throughout the semester (including five skill-building workshops), which led to several COOP alumni being hired at TikTok after the program.
