About the Team: We are looking for a Partner Manager to join our Ecosystem Partnerships team with focus on supporting business development for our commerce partnerships. Commerce partnerships are a critical means of scaling interactions between TikTok users and merchants across the globe. As a Partner Manager, you will focus on new business development centered around revolutionize the way consumers conduct commerce both online and offline. The team’s culture mirrors that of a small start-up; a team of entrepreneurs and leaders with an eye for what's next. In this role you will work directly with commerce partners in verticals ranging from marketing, logistics, food & delivery, local, events & ticketing, to travel. Partner Managers will work closely with various internal stakeholders including product, strategy, legal, partner activation & enablement, and marketing to develop new ways for consumers to interact with products, services and experiences they love. Come help us bring #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt and #TikTokMadeMeDoIt to merchants, sellers and small business owners globally. Responsibilities: - Source and qualify new partnerships that fit into overall commerce verticals. - Manage core operations for business development efforts the Ecosystem Partnerships business Development team, including annual planning, OKRs, ongoing reporting and contract work, proactively resolving business issues. - Drive product and merchant adoption of commerce integrations and solutions - Provide ongoing education about new and existing TikTok commerce partners - Project-manage complex integrations with various commerce players - Identify opportunities to scale existing solutions to more merchants and creators. - Define complex programs and integration paths with strategic partners to enable TikTok advertising, native commerce, and creator monetization at scale. - Represent Tiktok in external meetings with executives from other companies while displaying the highest personal integrity and ethics. Preferred qualifications: - 7 to 15 years of client-facing experience in partnerships, business development, or commerce operations. - Experience owning and scaling growth projects in a fast-paced technical environment - Experience developing complex integrations with third parties. - You're a builder, incredibly organized and process-oriented. - You are a strategic thinker, but you’re also a doer, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to execute. - You thrive in an environment with changing priorities and responsibilities, and you’re able to make and stand behind decisions without a clear roadmap. - Experience presenting to internal and external audiences at all levels of seniority. - Quantitative/analytical experience. - Experience working as part of an international team. - Strong e-commerce product acumen, from payment solutions to fulfillment services. - Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, affiliate technologies, and/or creator monetization is a plus. - Experience dealing with native payment solutions and integrations a plus. - Experience dealing with commerce live streaming a plus. - Fluency in English required. - Fluency in Mandarin is a plus but not required.
