A robust compensation, benefits, and performance (CBP) strategy influences the organization's ability to attract and retain the best talent while creating a strong alignment of individuals' interests with the organization's strategic goals. The CBP team works on many tough but interesting problems. Whether it is developing new world-class compensation policies, diving deep into market research, analyzing big data, and benchmarking. Given the nature of our work, it also creates huge opportunities for collaboration with departments in and outside of the HR organization. This is a full-time role can be based in Austin, Mountain View, Seattle, Los Angeles, or New York City. What You Will Do: - Lead the design of compensation policies for various job families in the Americas region (U.S., Canada) to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity, through research on compensation policies and practices of leading Tech companies, as well as internal data analysis. - Influence the decisions of business and HR leaders. - Partner closely with stakeholders such as recruiting teams, providing guidance on programs and advice on how best to win in a market to attract, retain, and engage the world's top technical talent. - Manage Performance Review and Promotion/Salary review projects for local teams - Manage vendor relations with outside firms, such as Aon Radford, etc. - Minimum 5 years of experience in compensation, with experience in working with compensation for technologists at technology firms strongly preferred. - Be able to communicate effectively with employees, the HR team, and business leads, and be comfortable presenting programs and plans and influencing decisions at a high level. - Outstanding analytical capabilities: Analyze trends, surveys, and data to determine compensation strategies. - Experience working with compensation vendors such as Aon Radford, etc. - Strong Ethics and Discretion: Deal with confidential information and therefore, must be ethical and discrete when it comes to handling sensitive information. - Working knowledge of employment law and practices.
