Position summary

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community. What will I be doing? - You'll analyze and assess content policy related data and issues within specific markets or around specific topics. - You'll work with internal policy, risk, and other Trust & Safety teams to collate information on key policy trends and developments. - You'll produce internal reports which help drive company thinking behind content policy decision making at the regional and/or global levels. What should I bring with me? - You are an undergraduate/postgraduate student with a background in Political Science, International Relations, Journalism, International Development, Public Policy, Philosophy, Law, Media Studies, Economics, or a related field. - You have outstanding organizational, research, and communication skills, with a strong work ethic. - You have deep interest in content policy issues and how they are managed. - You are able to commit to an internship based in Singapore for at least 10 weeks. - English proficiency is required. In addition, an interest in or understanding of cultures, laws and regulations in Australia and New Zealand would be an advantage as this person will be involved in projects relating to these two markets.
