Position summary

Creativity is at the core of TikTok. From our community to our brand. Brand & Creative is a center of excellence inside Global Marketing team. We oversee all of TikTok's and ByteDance's emerging brands advertising and creative expression to ensure the creative development and execution of world-class consistent communications. We are looking for a Creative Strategist to join our Creative Studio in São Paulo, who crafts human-centric, insights-driven and measurable campaign strategies that translates business and marketing goals into compelling creative opportunities for the LATAM region. The ideal candidate is a culture and insights specialist and excellent storyteller, who will work closely with the regional marketing teams, creative teammates and external agencies. If you're a curious thinker who is passionate about cultural trends, all things creative, and – of course – TikTok, we'd love to speak with you. Responsibilities - Partner closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to understand the marketing briefs and business goals, and translate these insights into compelling, creative briefs for the internal creative team and external agencies - Help marketing teams identify opportunities to scale creative campaigns across various markets and ork with marketing leads from other regions to ensure global alignment on campaign strategies - Lead strategic briefings of external agencies during the RFP process, serving as creative strategy oversight during the RFP - Work closely with the marketing intelligence team to find insights that inform creative strategy, but also seek relevant cultural insights from sources beyond the expected – from broad trends in culture, to niche micro-communities - and also to measure creative effectiveness, and evaluate creative before and after a campaign goes live in order to optimize strategy - Provide proactive ideas and strategic recommendations for the team based on platform and industry trends - Collaborate with creative teams in the development of the campaign to bring the strategy to life, and be able to steer those teams to stay on brief and keep the north star in mind - Advocate the importance of culture, trends, diversity & inclusion and brand consistency in all marketing initiatives - Individual contributor role with potential to manage team in the future Key qualifications - 4-year degree in marketing, advertising or related field - 8+ years of professional experience in brand marketing, communication strategy teams of creative agencies, in-houses, consultancy or related roles - Must be a creative thinker and skilled storyteller with exceptional writing, communication and presentation skills - Possess the ability to learn and apply new knowledge and skills quickly in a fast-moving org - Have a proven track record of operating independently, being organized, having strong attention to detail, and managing multiple projects simultaneously; be solution-oriented when faced with ambiguity. - Team player, strong people skills and confidence in navigating a large cross functional organization with ability to engage at all levels of the organization - Highly experienced with large 360 campaigns - Fluent written and spoken English (Spanish is a plus)
