About the Team
SoundOn is an all-in-one platform powered by TikTok, designed to better service music creators through each step of their career - from TikTok integrated promotion tools to universal music distribution, from diverse monetization opportunities to smart music creation. SoundOn exists to give every music creator & label the power to authentically connect with new audiences and "do music" their way.

Responsibilities
-Provide end-to-end music distribution support for internal and external clients such as Artist Partnerships, Priority Clients, DSPs, distribution partners and DIY distribution clients as needed.

• Oversee the catalog and new release onboarding process with new clients for efficient content and metadata ingestion between clients and off-platform partners.
• Moderate and enforce on and off-platform operational standards to ensure the successful delivery of music releases
• Rights Management of regional of SoundOn content, including claim and conflict management.
• Manage and execute content protection measures within region, as well as the monitoring of off platform activity that could have a negative impact on SoundOn.
• Help troubleshoot and proactively identify any issues involved in the distribution process between clients and distribution partners, ensuring all assets are delivered correctly and deadlines are met for clients and vendors.
• Communicate and respond to inbound requests from clients, digital service platforms and distribution partners.
• Assess and refine internal workflows and best practices to improve the client and distribution experience.
• Manage relationships and internal workflows with XFN partners involved in music distribution and moderation such as GUO, TNS, DRM, and USDS.
• Manage external relationships and workflows with vendors and third parties who support SoundOn's business.
• Work closely with the Distribution and Product Operations Lead on all matters related to SoundOn operations.
• Build relations and maintain operational relationships with key clients, providing expert feedback and managing their distribution experience within SoundOn.
• Stay informed about various regional markets, industry trends, the competitive landscape, and internal product development efforts to ensure alignment with our goals.
• Provide guidance to artists on various monetization opportunities by utilizing all available resources. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to maximize revenue for artists.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
-Experience in technology, music, and entertainment industry.
-Understand the US music market and mainstream music.
-Proficiency in English communication and presentation.
-Ability to present strategies with data evidence.
-Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Deep knowledge of music industry operations and product development within music and digital distribution infrastructure.
-Great attitude, incredible passion and enthusiasm for people, technology, process, and music.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $83600 - $192533 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
