About the Team We are looking for a junior to mid-level lawyer to support our rapidly growing e-commerce business teams. Our legal team provides support to all aspects of TikTok Shop. We are looking for talented, energetic, humble globally-minded attorneys who are technically savvy, are comfortable with ambiguity and are strong team players. Responsibilities:

• Work with legal and product teams globally to review products, features, and new initiatives to provide legal risk mitigation strategies to ensure legal compliance for TikTokShop from a US legal perspective.
• Coordinate with product, product operations, public policy, communications, and other cross-functional colleagues. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree plus a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California or New York bar or the jurisdiction in which you're based or be registered in-house counsel
• 3-5 years of post-qualification legal experience including at a law firm or in-house.
• Prior experience related to product counseling for a marketplace including litigation is preferred.
• Experience with working with international teams in various time zones in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Excellent and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills in a cross-functional and global role.
• The ability to effectively interact with all levels of colleagues.
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn, sense of humor, and positive attitude.

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $133000 - $228000 annually.​Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
