About the team
Aeolus is a data analysis product developed by ByteDance that combines data insight and preparation. With the massive amount of data generated from ByteDance's business growth, there is a strong demand for intelligent insights to extract valuable information from this data, as well as the ability to process it in conjunction with business personnel and data teams. Traditional data analysis products have not provided satisfactory solutions for these pain points. Aeolus provides detailed query capabilities under massive amounts of data, intelligent insight and attribution capabilities under massive amounts of data, and low-threshold processing capabilities for internal employees at ByteDance.

What you will be doing:

• Engage in the development of analytics and business intelligence (ABI) products
• Collaborate with team members to deliver user-friendly and performant applications to our end users
• Actively research, experiment, iterate and improve product architecture to ensure high quality and robustness in our enterprise-grade platforms
• Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality before delivery
• Learn and understand how ABI works to suggest and help build end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or related technical field from accredited and reputable institutions
• Expertise in fundamental web development technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Expertise in one of the modern web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc)
• Expertise in web API design and development (REST, GraphQL)
• Experience in designing and writing automated tests
• Experience working with CI/CD
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Past industry experience in professional software development
