Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As the Sr. Manager of Seller Governance, you will be leading a team consisting of policy managers, investigation ops and program managers to drive seller performance optimization, and design projects to ensure the balance between growth and sustainability of the platform in each market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, cultivate and provide guidance to team members and design career development opportunities for them
  • Design sellers performance requirements and policies related to onboarding,seller performance, seller services and seller funds management by conducting benchmark research and understanding sellers' profilings
  • Drive programs to mitigate risks and launch enforcement strategies targeting problems related to high cancellation, late shipment, bad seller services, seller abuse and tiring of sellers to ensure good purchasing experiences while balancing frictions added to sellers
  • Establish processes and investigational framework to identify emerging seller abuses and respond to any regulatory inquires regarding sellers malicious behaviors
  • Support regional teams to drive key metric improvements in areas related to onboarding KYB/KYC processes, policy education and IPR infringement mitigations Requirements
  • 8+ years of professional experience in consumer product safety, compliance or regulatory research fields
  • Great research and investigation skills, able to discover the unknown
  • At least 5 years of people management experience managing a size of 5 or more
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
  • Experience acting as a program manager and collaborating with XFN teams to drive end results
  • Demonstrated past success working in a matrix environment and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Understanding of regulatory trends related to E-Commerce in any US/ EU/SEA market is a strong plus
