Team summary: As one of key procurement departments , Global Construction Center of Expert (COE) facilitates multi-billion dollar annual purchases across 3 major sourcing hubs including AMS, EMEA and APAC. Our mission is to enhance the business units competitive edge by providing the best in class "visible, controllable and deliverable" procurement practices & solutions. We are responsible for sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, supporting the development of key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic overview of project procurement management activities and ensuring that purchasing contracts and arrangements are fulfilled in strict accordance with legal requirements, project requirements, and business policies and procedures. Locations: Culver City, CA (preferred); SF Bay area Travel: Domestic and international, 20%~30% based on project needs Responsibilities: We are looking for a procurement business partner to support the GRE (Global Real Estate) team. You will be responsible for handling procurement requests across multiple categories including, but not limited to construction, fit-out, furniture, and so on for Northern, Middle and Southern America (AMS). This person will partner with cross regional and functional team members to develop compelling procurement solutions which will directly impact business performance and increase market competitiveness. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively with the business units and build constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. - Engage with business stakeholders ranging from GRE, Facility Management, Admin, Security, IT to support functions such as Legal, Internal Audit, Local Category managers to ensure project scope and timelines for implementation are achieved and in compliance with company requirements. - Develop a robust qualified vendor pool by utilizing appropriate procurement evaluation tools and processes such as building sourcing strategy, RFX, contract negotiations and partnership management - Manage end to end procurement cycle including negotiating and executing contracts, monitoring project deliverables and key milestones, developing supplier performance management programs and building business allocation policies & procedures in order to manage supplier contractual obligations/violations - Promote Procurement best practices and preferred approaches for sourcing and contract management, with ample knowhow about present and future trends in the market landscape of dedicated category realm. - Build category intelligence and insight by conducting deep dive global sourcing analysis and research. - Be an ambassador of business policies and procurement guidance across the board. - Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, supply chain, finance, or other relevant fields; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. - At least 7+ years of solid procurement experience with at least 5 years relevant to the following mix of categories: Real Estate and/or Construction. The ideal candidate worked within a global environment and with multinational companies or social media/tech sector companies. - Professional of procurement, proficient in sourcing to pay, end to end process and related system. - Developed negotiation ability, strong data analytical and logical reasoning ability, problem solving ability. - Collaborative stakeholder engagement including developed communication skills adaptable to various levels including senior management - Critical and active thinking to embrace challenges including prioritisation and change management skills. - Understanding of contract law, preference for experiential knowledge of various types of contracts. - Strong Ownership & Leadership - Preferably a fully qualified member of CIPS | CPSM TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
