The Shop Ads Go-to-Market lead is responsible for driving the adoption strategy of the TikTok Shop advertising solution, which helps TikTok Shop merchants grow their business on TikTok. TikTok Shop is an innovative new shopping feature that enables merchants, brands, and creators to showcase and sell products directly on TikTok through in-feed videos, LIVEs, the product showcase tab, and the shopping center (2nd tab of the TikTok app). TikTok Shop is now available in the United States.
We are looking for an experienced Go-to-Market lead who will help scale the adoption of TikTok Shop Ads and create customized strategies for different client segments in the U.S. Market. You will help retailers and brands of all sizes connect with their customers through TikTok and ultimately drive business growth. This role will be an individual contributor.
Identify opportunities to drive adoption of ad products that integrate into TikTok's native experience and consumer shopping journey.
Define the Go-to-Market and sales enablement strategy, manage your product's lifecycle end-to-end, and work with cross-functional partners for successful training, marketing, operational processes, and demand-generation efforts.
Analyze and diagnose business problems, identify client pain points and priorities, lead short and long-term business strategy and implementation plans for TikTok Shop ad solutions.
Bring together key stakeholders involved in TikTok Shops and TikTok Shop Ads for collaboration and execution of Go-to-Market priorities.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders ranging from global product teams, TikTok Shops teams, vertical activation teams, centers of excellence, business marketing, learning & development teams, and more.
5+ years of direct experience in product marketing, strategy and operations, or related, with demonstrated leadership in the management of a product (or portfolio of products) go-to-market strategy through the development lifecycle, from early stage testing to general availability launch to ongoing teaching of performance measurement and optimization tactics for improved adoption and revenue attainment.
5+ years of experience in performance advertising.
Experience influencing product management teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work in a fast-changing environment or experience working for a startup.
Ability to speak to technical/business stakeholders and users and interact at all levels of the organization.
Distinctive problem-solving skills with the ability to define problems and identify potential solutions.
Fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking.
Excellent documentation, presentation, communication, organizational, and analytical skills, particularly implemented in a cross-functional and global role.
Previous experience with social media advertising platforms, particularly TikTok.
Experience in e-commerce or retail industry.
Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
