U.S. Data Security (“USDS”) is a standalone department of TikTok in the U.S. This new security-first division was created to bring heightened focus and governance to our data protection policies and content assurance protocols to keep U.S. users safe. Our focus is on providing oversight and protection of the TikTok platform and user data in the U.S., so millions of Americans can continue turning to TikTok to learn something new, earn a living, express themselves creatively, or be entertained. The teams within USDS that deliver on this commitment daily span Trust & Safety, Security & Privacy, Engineering, User & Product Ops, Corporate Functions and more. Responsibilities - Lead the Culture and Resilience Team and build a program for scale including the implementation of our organizational culture and wellbeing strategies for our Trust & Safety teams; - Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to the leadership team and HRBPs as a trusted advisor on employee wellness and provide deep insights, opinions and consultations based on professional judgement, internal employee feedback and data analysis; - Collaborate closely with business leaders, HRBPs, global wellbeing teams, and other stakeholders to leverage internal resources and explore external resources; - Develop a strategy and framework for the delivery and implementation of effective programs for U.S. Data Services - Trust & Safety through roadmapping and OKR planning; - Deep dive into business logic, scenarios and processes; identify areas for optimization and drive implementation with multiple stakeholders to address potential psychological impacts, improve overall safety and business continuity; - Lead on needs assessments across locations and teams in relation to emerging and ad hoc wellbeing support and culture needs; - Build escalation solutions to improve employee wellness; centered on identified teams and issues, working with company benefit policies, local laws and regulations and closely collaborating with business leaders, company enterprise services and HR teams; - Manage USDS T&S efforts and collaborate with global XFNs on internal research projects into health impacts and interventions specific to the industry context; - Actively promote best practices across all services being provided; - Evaluate and make decisions about wellbeing options taking into account theoretical and evidenced models, and considering highly complex factors concerning processes that can shape individuals, groups, and organizations; - Exercise professional responsibility, provide leadership and expert consultancy to others through advice and guidance; - Develop and analyze key metrics to gauge the success of wellness programs and devise future projects, perform post-mortem analysis and continue to iterate the wellbeing system; - Work closely with our Organizational Culture Business Partners, People teams and cross-functional partners to identify key organizational culture needs, opportunities, engagement and performance metrics for culture and organizational effectiveness; ensure cultural initiatives are aligned with our global company culture This job description is not exhaustive, but is intended to give an overall picture of the role. Other duties within the general scope of the function may be required. - Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, health psychology, behavioral science or another relevant health behavior-related field is preferred; Master's degree is a plus; - Strong leadership and experience in people management with a demonstrated ability to build high performing and engaged teams; preferably with experience within the tech industry; - Demonstrated business acumen and ability to communicate across various levels of leadership, including key executives; - Excellent knowledge of organizational leadership, practice, and theories; - Experience providing consultancy on complex topics and projects to multiple stakeholders at all levels within organizations; - Agile-minded with the ability to manage ambiguity and be able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment; - Excellent skills in interpersonal relationships, strategic partnership, and influencing; - Confident in taking initiative within an agreed framework and boundaries; - Experience working with OKRs, developing roadmaps and strategy, building consensus, aligning objectives with business priorities, and ability to motivate and inspire your teams to set goals and drive outcomes - Willingness to travel approximately 30% TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
