    Position summary

    obal Account team works with leading multinational partners to deliver innovative technology solutions and serve to advocate and educate the market to help accelerate the overall growth of TikTok Global Business Solutions.

    We are looking for a global professional to lead our Global Accounts Team. The team plays a critical role in establishing and leading strategic partnerships between TikTok and top global brands. This team is consultative in nature and leads the strategic, long-term growth of each global account. The Head of Global Accounts will own and nurture C-level and senior business client-side relationships and partner with TikTok's regional market General Managers to drive platform growth.

    About the Role
    Our Head of Global Accounts will act as the strategic ambassador responsible for building TikTok's reputation and revenue for the world's biggest brands. The Head of Global Account will anticipate the business needs of the largest multinational companies, drive the commercial strategy, deliver against exponential revenue goals, advocate and deliver measurable solutions for our clients. They will steward industry-level thought leadership, work cross-functionally and collaboratively with sales teams across multiple verticals, and drive organizational KPIs while being passionate about inspiring creativity and joy among our brand partners around the world.

    The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about global revenue growth, cross-functional account development, proficient in high level strategic thinking and market enablement. This role requires the ability to work across different time zones and cultures, and brings a philosophy of client-centricity to the role both internally and externally. The successful candidate is an exponential revenue driver, commercially savvy, organization and talent builder, solutions and action-oriented, highly technical, entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, a strong strategic thinker and has deep experience leading large teams and leading through influence.

    Responsibilities

    • Revenue forecasting across global markets, commercial negotiation expertise, and expertise in deal development and management
    • Build and shape the vision, global strategy, approach, coordination, engagement planning and success metrics for TikTok's top global brands.
    • Develop and maintain C-level relationships to expand TikTok's presence, and educate and advocate on the power of TikTok's platform.
    • Lead analysis and problem solving, lead large, matrixed and complex client organizations, and develop strategic global partnerships.
    • Build 'ground up' comprehensive revenue and business plans, global in nature in execution, that will drive top line revenue growth.
    • Sell in a team environment, lead and assist in the development of generating incremental revenue at a global scale
    • Utilize experience to generate thought leadership and content associated with specific global brand needs, to drive repeat business and help increase existing direct revenue from our top global accounts.
    • Work with regional sales leadership to establish/set strategic objectives and goals that maximize business impact.
    • Sustain close communication and alignment with clients and sales counterparts to maximize client strategies and engender trust and collaboration.
    • Takes responsibility for, and is proficient at, developing and growing professional staff in line with corporate culture and values, actively contributes to building and sharing the organization's values and leads by example.
    • Partner with the internal Global Agency team and their key decision makers in order to drive collaboration and synergistic advancement across the broader Global Agency & Accounts team.
    • Represent TikTok at key client and industry events, as a delegate and/or speaker.

    Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications:

    • Substantial experience in agency, marketer/brand role, have run a global business for a platform/publisher, or have a media sales and/or consulting background with strengths in strategy and negotiation
    • Proficient in building commercial and growth strategies to drive hyper-growth at a brand, agency or platform with demonstrable, scaled results behind your work
    • Proven track record of growing large scale (20+ plus) high-performing teams
    • Expert level global account management experience managing global marketing and measurement learning agendas across multiple markets and cultures
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will be showcased while working with internal and external leadership

    Preferred qualifications:

    • You are a thought leader in the marketing and media landscape and stay attuned to market intelligence to strategically plan our offering, address brand challenges and optimize our business to changing market dynamics
    • Extensive strategy development and consultative skills among sophisticated multinational organization's leadership
    • Truly global experience operating at global networks or with global brands in previous roles and have deep understanding of cultural nuances by countries, cultures, and languages

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $400000 - $490000 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
