We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    About the Team
    Our mission is to build a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The AI Data Service and Operations (ADSO) team is responsible for the operation of security model training, and iteration under TikTok and other international products, to ensure product security and create a good atmosphere for content creation and community interaction. You will have the opportunity to join the fast-growing space of AI and lead the development of cutting-edge products.

    The Partnership Management team at ADSO is responsible for the strategy, governance, and operations performance of the extended workforce across the region.

    As the Head of Global AI Data Service and Operations, Partnership Management, you will be responsible for leading a team and managing end-to-end oversight of the global Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) programs.

    What will I be doing?

    • You will be designing and driving the ADSO BPO business strategy, which can support business needs both at the current stage and in the future.
    • You will collaborate cross-functionally across teams within ADSO (Policy, Quality Assurance, etc.), and outside of ADSO (Products, Data, etc.) to ensure strategy and objectives are aligned and performance execution is up to expectation.
    • You will build positive relationships through on-time delivery of commitments and effective communication with Partner organizations at the executive level as well as at the site level.
    • You will identify risks and solve cross-functional and inter-team challenges.
    • You are responsible for developing and coaching the overall Partnership Management team globally.

    Qualifications

    What should I bring with me?

    Minimum Qualifications

    • You come with at least 5 years in operations and 5 years of experience in vendor management in the social media/high tech industry.
    • You possess at least 5 years of experience as a people manager with proven experience in managing a global/regional team.
    • You have worked in the Content Labelling/Data Labelling field for at least 5 years with a global scope.
    • You have proven experience in vendor management, especially with vendor selection and vendor contract negotiations.
    • You have proven experience in data analysis and using data to make strategic decision-making.
    • You have proven experience in quality assurance / risk management along with experience in driving quality improvement projects/programs related to content safety/content labelling.
    • You are able to build collaborative relationships with a diverse range of partners and influence at multiple levels of an organization.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • You possess problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills and experience in applying project management tools.
    • You are a team player with superior verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to grasp new concepts efficiently and perform well under pressure.
    • Strong understanding of AI technologies usage in the Trust and Safety space.
