About the team TikTok's Global Gaming Team aims to help gaming businesses and brands unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, and drive revenue and growth. We provide strategic input and run high-impact campaigns to ensure our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips. The Global Gaming team is looking for a Country/Market Lead to manage and drive its Japan business for Global Gaming. As a Country/Market Lead you will be the designated expert for clients of different industries and will be tasked with defining the way forward for long-term business relationships. Success in your role requires an overall understanding of the digital media ecosystem - deep connections with Gaming industry clients and an ability to evolve in a fast-paced demanding startup environment. You will be evaluated against your impact in terms of marketing budgets revenue generation as well as the strategic initiatives you will carry forward towards positioning TikTok as a key platform for the client companies. Main Responsibilities High performance team motivation and people development - Motivate a highly success driven team to constantly achieve goals across a region and multiple countries. - Develop the team, leading by example; coaching and enabling career development. Influence strategic sales with business insights - Provide solution-driven sales with executive influence to convince and secure investment on TikTok. - Demonstrate holistic business acumen across all markets, multiple industries and key factors in order to drive success across the region. Leverage cross-functional resources, manage priorities and seek win-win situations - Cooperate with cross-functional leaders to build frameworks that align processes, workflows and roles & responsibilities. - Leverage resources where and when needed by managing priorities. Demonstrate a strong executive presence, able to provide complex conflict management - Develop and nurture C-level relationships with top clients. - Navigate complex conflict resolutions, influencing key client behaviors whilst ensuring business continuity. Oversee excellent sales management with strategic perspective - Lead the team with a strategic mindset and effective tactics in order to achieve challenging objectives. - Take responsibility for overall account planning, using data insights and pipeline management. - Strong demonstration of people leadership that closely correspond to our ByteStyle leadership principles. - Proven ability to lead regional teams, remote teams across several countries - Proven track record of commercial and revenue-driven success. - Experience working in Ad Tech sales, preferably within the gaming industry. - Experience working in a start-up or fast moving, agile environment. - Experience working with and managing regional and global projects. - Strong ability to work with cross-functional partners and departments. - Experience working with and influencing C-level client stakeholders. What we're looking for: - Expertise in gaming industries preferably as a brand owner or part of the digital transformation/digital media team - Understanding of the digital media ecosystem and/or hands-on experience working with media agencies and different industry partners - Demonstrated ability to drive business agendas with senior stakeholders and meet revenue objectives - Best-in-class communication skills (Japanese & English) and strategic mindset preferably with existing relationships across key marketing decision-makers in the region - Self-starter, fast learner with a can-do spirit and a proven track record of building projects from the ground up.
