About the Team and Job: Our Growth Team partners closely with mid-market advertisers to develop solutions that build businesses and brands. We are looking for an Industry Group Manager on our Brand Partnerships team who will be responsible for driving strategy and client service expectations within their specific vertical across North America and globally. They will partner closely with the Client Solutions Industry Group Manager and serve as the advocate for their category both internally and externally. They will manage a team of Brand Partnerships Team Leads and be expected to work closely with our product team to find digital media solutions for the vertical/industry they represent. The Industry Group Manager will have a deep knowledge of online media combined with excellent communication and analytical skills. Success in this position requires a focus on project/relationship management, education, measurement and the ability to tell a strong story that shows TikTok's unique and proven ability to drive quota attainment and client KPIs. Responsibilities 1. Be an expert in your vertical / industry and able to clearly articulate how TikTok can best serve these clients 2. Collect and disseminate best practices and strategies across the Industry to vertical teams, both locally and globally, to win, maintain and grow strong client relationships with our mid-market advertisers 3. Hire, coach, and develop the Brand Partnerships team on consultative, data driven campaign analysis and selling at scale to deliver results against set goals 4. Collaborate with leadership to establish a cohesive strategy for Sales and Client Solutions 5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TikTok’s features and ad units and consult clients on TikTok product offerings and demonstrate expertise of product capabilities, measurement, attribution, and KPIs 6. Establish processes to collect feedback to inform strategy 7. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop, identify, and implement effective and scalable processes for our growing Brand Partnerships team 8. Ensure a standard of excellence and flawless campaign execution across all teams within your Vertical / Industry 9. Develop short and long term strategy for a group of 2-4 verticals, with the ability to forecast for each Qualifications: 1. At least 8+ years of experience in partnerships and sales roles in digital marketing -- biddable network experience a plus 2. At least 2+ years of management experience of a team of 5 or more - experience managing managers a plus 3. Previous experience in vertical at a platform, brand or agency 4. Experience managing advertisers throughout the funnel with a deep understanding of their challenges 5. Experience working in digital auction marketplaces with and understanding of how to execute effectively within them 6. Experience building relationships with top marketing decision makers at brands and agencies 7. Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve quickly and through the proper escalation process 8. Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills 9. Outstanding executive presence and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives 10. Experience with ad verification partners (IAS, DV, MOAT) 11. Self-starter, a fast learner who has critical thinking 12.
