Security Tools Operations and Validation team's responsibilities include designing and implementing IT security solutions that address the organization's needs, assessing risks and vulnerabilities, and developing strategies to mitigate them, validation of security technical controls.

The role will be responsible for leading the design, architecture design and implementation of our state to the art Security Tech Validation Framework. And setup the technical supporting team including product team, development team, domain validation teams, validation operation teams etc. The validation framework and validation in security domains will provide solid platform support to GSO's maturity measurement effort. And by implementing the validation of different security domains, the role will make sure the security requirements by GSO are implemented in all of TikTok's business.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement open and scalable security validation frameworks to automate security testing, validation, and reporting processes
• Implement security validation in different security domains, including network security, cloud security, endpoint security, Secure SDLC, Identity and authentication etc.
• Design and implement domain specific validation infrastructure and utilities
• Prioritize the target validation domains, working with a cross function team
• Setup the supporting teams for technical control validation, including operation team, SRE team etc
• Working with inside/outside service providers to find solution with the best ROI
• Setup validation strategy according to stakeholder's requirements
• Make the SLA of validation framework and implement

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's (master's preferred) degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is usually required.
2. Strong experience with security automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet).
3. Strong product or development experience in security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP, WAF, HIDS etc).
4. Strong understanding of Secure SDLC with best practice in industry

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Proficiency in at least two programming languages: Python, Java, Go, Bash, C/C++, shell; Having excellent debugging skills
2. Good knowledge of BAS(Breach As a Service) like frameworks
3. Broad knowledge of all security domains
4. Excellent team-working skills are needed. Previous successful working experience through different time zones is a plus.
