    About the Team:
    Our Trust & Safety team's commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.

    The Training & Performance organization develops and delivers policy training to promote a positive and safe environment for all of our users and content creators to enjoy and express themselves.

    As a Learning Solutions Architect, you will be committed to creating innovative solutions that drive learning excellence. We seek a true learning design guru with deep expertise in learning theories and a passion for leveraging data-driven insights to create impactful learning experiences. You will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge learning solutions that are scalable, adaptive, and tailored to the evolving needs of our organization. Your role will leverage AI, learning analytics dashboards, and various learning modalities to create personalized and targeted learning experiences. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure that our learning solutions are performance-based, skills development-focused, and seamlessly integrated into the workflow. Additionally, you will focus on quality metrics and overall learner satisfaction to drive continuous improvement and excellence in our learning programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Learning Design Expertise: Utilize your expertise in learning sciences to create innovative solutions that drive performance excellence to meet the organization's evolving needs;
    • Learner-Centric Approach: Ensure all learning solutions are learner-centric, focusing on the needs of the learners;
    • Data-Driven Learning: Leverage data and learning analytics to inform, monitor, measure, and optimize learning strategies, ensuring they are engaging, effective, and equitable; implement improvements as needed to maximize impact and results;
    • Skills development: Assist team leads in enhancing the skills of team members in instructional design development and delivery principles and methodologies;
    • Training Request Analysis and Optimization: Conduct in-depth cost-benefit analyses and present optimized solutions to enhance effectiveness while reducing unnecessary training;
    • Design at Scale: Create locally relevant learning experiences that can be deployed globally, ensuring consistency and quality;
    • Modality Diversity: Create and implement solutions across different modalities (eLearning, blended learning, and ILTs);
    • Just-in-time learning: Design learning solutions accessible in the moment of need and integrated seamlessly into the workflow;
    • Microlearning: Develop engaging microlearning modules (e.g., videos, infographics, etc.) focused on skills development and personalized learning paths;
    • Trust & Safety Domain: Apply your understanding and experience in the trust & safety industry to create relevant learning content;
    • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Foster collaboration and effectively engage with stakeholders (Policy, Product, Platform, etc.) throughout the learning design process;
    • Project Management Expertise: Independently manage multiple training projects from analysis through evaluation;
    • Future of Learning: Leverage the latest trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are cutting-edge and future-proof (e.g., Adaptive learning, integrating AI, etc.).

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Master's degree (or equivalent education and/or experience) in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, or related fields;
    • 5+ years' proven expertise as a learning design expert, showcasing a robust portfolio of successful learning solutions;
    • Deep understanding and effective application of learning theories and instructional design principles;
    • Proficient in leveraging adaptive learning technologies, AI-driven solutions, and instructional design software (e.g., Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Rise);
    • Demonstrated ability to design scalable, performance-based, and skills development-focused learning experiences across diverse modalities (eLearning, blended learning, instructor-led training) with strong analytical skills to extract insights from data, optimize learning outcomes, and utilize learning analytics dashboards.
    • Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) platforms for effective delivery and management of learning content;
    • Excellent planning, organization, and project management skills to independently manage multiple training projects from analysis through evaluation.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Learning portfolio with work samples that showcase your skills, knowledge, and achievements;
    • Background in Trust and Safety, policy development, and content moderation, ensuring the creation of relevant, compliant, and culturally sensitive learning content.

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $106666 - $198444 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
