Position summary

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. About the Team We are looking for a Polish qualified lawyer with 3+ years experience to become a key member of our legal function in Germany. You will support TikTok in Poland and other Central European countries out of our Berlin office. You will thrive in an environment that asks you to deliver at pace, juggle competing priorities and work to short turnaround times and bring your energy and enthusiasm to respond quickly to a business that is scaling fast. Responsibilities: - Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts including sales agreements, agency partnerships and trading agreements; creative agency and marketing agreements; talent agreements and image releases; media buying contracts; collaboration agreements and sponsorship agreements; - Advise on initiatives to support creators; and support TikTok's content licensing and live-streaming plans; - Advise on a broad range of legal compliance issues relating to media platforms, advertising and monetisation including media regulation, copyright law, consumer protection laws and financial regulations; - Advise multiple business stakeholders with a focus on building relationships and efficiency; - Advise on legal risks for the business and partner with legal colleagues and senior business leads to mitigate risks; - support knowledge management, template development (including playbooks), process improvement and training. You will be a Polish qualified lawyer with 3+ years experience. You will: - Ideally have experience advising platforms, digital content or advertising businesses, either based in private practice or in-house; - have an understanding of copyright licensing, digital advertising, media regulation as well as marketing regulation and consumer protection and familiarity with the privacy issues in this environment ; - have strong commercial acumen and be comfortable taking commercial decisions and working closely with members of other teams; - have solid experience in drafting and negotiating agreements; - have a highly collaborative style and strong inter-personal skills - experience of working in an international business is a plus; - Knowledge of legal system of other European countries, in particular England, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria or Switzerland is a big plus - be passionate about the law mixed with a pragmatic work style; - have strong communication skills that allow you to interact with a wide variety of individuals and to convey legal facts clearly and simply; - Fluent in English and Polish
