    We are the Ads Core Team from TikTok Global Monetization Technology. Our core mission is to generate revenue and optimize the user experience on the world's leading short-form video platform.
    Within the global monetization and advertising landscape, we are responsible for accelerating TikTok revenue growth through advanced machine learning technology and delivering optimal user experience solutions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research and develop a global advanced advertising delivery system through frontier technologies, including ML/DL, RL, LLM and also scaling law in ads recommendation.
    • Optimize efficiency across the entire advertising funnel, including Recall&Rough-sort, Fine-sort(ctr/cvr), format/creative personalization and system resource allocation.
    • Design and set up system framework and standard to continuously improve overall modeling efficiency.
    • Build the delivery pipeline, including modeling, bidding, traffic strategy, optimizing organic video recommendation systems, adapting to a variety of vertical business needs.
    • Influence overall user experience and revenue targets, positioning us as a core component of the entire organization.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate with a background in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
    • Solid programming skills, proficient in C/C++ and Python. Familiar with basic data structure and algorithms. Familiar with Linux development environment.
    • Good theoretical grounding in machine learning/deep learning/algorithm concepts and techniques.
    • Familiar with architecture and implementation of at least one mainstream machine learning programming framework (TensorFlow/Pytorch/MXNet), familiar with its architecture and implementation mechanism.
    • Good analytical thinking capability.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Good understanding in one of the following domains: ads bidding & auction, ads quality control, and online advertising systems (familiar with one or more of these terms: CPC/CPM, CTR/CVR, Ranking /Targeting, Conversion/Budget, Campaign/Creative)

    Job Information

    [For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)

    The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $113500 - $250000 annually.

    Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
