Position summary

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video. Our mission is to inspire creativity and bring joy. TikTok has global offices including Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai, Singapore, Jakarta, Seoul and Tokyo. The infrastructure team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyper-scale datacenters, managing the life cycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions, and developing various infrastructure services and making sure they are scalable and are reliable. Responsibilities: • Lead the 24/7/365 operation of TikTok's global datacenters. • Hire and grow a team of datacenter operation engineers and technical program managers • Implement standards and processes to optimize operation efficiencies • Rapidly learn, adapt, and apply previous learnings to enable rapid and sustainable growth of TikTok's global datacenter footprint. • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams and other functional teams on company wide datacenter development projects. Minimum Qualifications: • 5+ years experience managing datacenter operation teams • Strong knowledge of the interdependencies of data center functions and technologies, including electrical systems, cooling and networking technologies • Project management experience in deploying and operating datacenters • Excellent communication skills, including issue tracking, triaging and crisis management.
